English for Academic Purposes for Students in Fragile Environments

Yvonne Fraser comes from a background of English language teaching, teacher training, academic and project management. She worked overseas for over 20 years, predominantly with the British Council, in Turkey, Egypt, Malaysia, Jordan, Tunisia and Libya, and focused on teaching and training for students and teachers from challenging contexts. Since returning to the UK, she has managed and taught English for Academic Purposes programmes for students in Afghanistan, Iran, Syria and Tajikistan. Yvonne has a bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations and qualifications in ELT and project management. She also has a master’s degree in TESOL and Applied Linguistics and specialised in academic and non-academic support for students from fragile environments applying for UK master’s programmes.
