You can get in touch with the RefugEAP Network Working Group by emailing refugeap-network@baleap.org
Follow us at @RefugEAP for updates related to the RefugEAP Network and the RefugEAP Programme
You can join us by subscribing to our JISCmail discussion list. This functions as a mutual support network for individuals and organisations involved and/or interested in developing widening participation initiatives for refugee-background students to facilitate access to HE via English language pathways, with a particular focus on English for Academic Purposes. It will also be a place where you can keep up to date with what’s happening on the RefugEAP Programme
Other similar networks which are not EAP-specific but which are very useful for those working in EAP/HE contexts are the Universities of Sanctuary JISCmail discussion list, and the Hub for European Refugee Education mailing list
We are inviting contributions to our RefugEAP Network Resources Bank Padlet. In particular, we are looking for people to share any relevant sanctuary-related job/role descriptions, so that we can begin to build a bank of these to share. Similarly, if you notice any category of resources missing, please let us know and we can then add it
The RefugEAP Network has developed a joint pledge (submitted at the Global Refugee Forum in Geneva in December 2023), which EAP providers around the UK are invited to sign up to via this form.
We are looking for individuals and organisations to get involved in the RefugEAP Programme as volunteer tutors, associate organisations and partner organisations
We are keen to build a solid evidence base for ‘pathway to HE’ provision for refugee-background students. To this end, we are inviting contributions to our Blog (in the form of case studies, testimonials and other contributions) and our Repository of Studies
